Wow! That is brilliant driving. I can not believe how unstable that rear-end is. Still, that is an amazingly fast car.

yea power sliding is not the fastest. Porsche rear end comes out quick. I've never driven one, but i'd think it's the same reason that makes the MR2 unstable.

Awesome! I was fortunate enough to drive a new Porsche GT3 RS today... a very rare bird. I took it out a an autocross course, and got to flog it. I'll tell you, that thing has filling loosening acceleration.

Too bad I spun the thing. (seriously) lol No damage though.

I was amazed at how well the 997 handles despite of its engine hanging over the rear. You still have some traditional 911 problems but it is nothing like it was with cars like the Yellow Bird.

Agreed. The 997 is a very nice car. I also got to drive his wife's C4S, which wasn't quite as hornery. It was a rainy day, and that's a lot of R compound for standing water. As it started to come around, I initially wanted to say "OH SH!T", but thought better.

Imagine having a GT3 RS, and a C4S for the missus, plus a very tweaked S55 for one of your daily drivers. Must be nice.
