So , actually not only some sensors ...
Those 'boxes are probably built around the sensors so fIA will be interested if they're replacements for the race.
Goodnight all.

[QUOTE=yco;26418340]everything is the same but GP name is different.. life..
1:45 Vettel is hoping to back to Red Bull..

Full up at RB and Alex is good so he should probably take time out like Alonso did and come back refreshed? Alternatively If Seb wanted to help RB,(the team that gave him 4 world championships) he could become an advisor in the meantime when he leaves Ferrari, similar to what Lauda did and guide the two young drivers using his experience on how to dodge the pitfalls of making their way to the top of the pile.

Bad for Norris but the ones on the grid just think 'well that's one out the way'.

Sucks for Norris and even more for Ricciardo. He looked to be limping a bit.

after to 2 practice sessions.. i hope Ricciardo is doing ok first of all..
and well i guess more likely clear that Mercs still dont like heat still..
but Sunday's race will be pretty cool according to a July race though.. Bottas seems happy with the car but Hamilton even went for a setup change in last minutes of the session..

Red Bulls were complaining about the mid corner snap oversteer and Albon showed 2 examples why actually.. Max was having some issues with power but seems team solved and he was the fastest on FP2..

Racing Points are fast..
and its so clear that rich dads kid cant keep up with Perez..

Ferraris are not looking good at all.. even the car was looking unhappy not looking straight somehow.. and Vettel made his lap deleted i guess 4 times or something almost a second slower than Leclerc on FP2..

Just read that there's no room for him at Racing Point also for '21.

I would give my eye teeth for my son to be in car 18 rather than Lance S,unfortunately I cannot put a candle to his dad's cash injection to the team my friend.
My son got the fastest lap so far then in one of the static cars last year at Merc World in Surrey.

That’s what I would have thought. And I know he certainly can. But Otmar definitely seemed to be leaving the door open. He was doing the non denial denial. Not as firm as Red Bull. The fact that Will buxton said that Lance was pissed off and sulking during an interview yesterday makes me think they are at least talking and Lance wasn’t happy. Who knows. But maybe....Daddy Stroll is probably a businessman first. We’ll see..

Fernando Alonso had already mentioned that he was previously talking to Racing Point for the upcoming seat at future Aston Martin. Vettel also made some "nice" remarks about racing point, saying how he knows some of the guys, and it's a good team, etc. I think Seb is still in talks with Racing Point. Lance Stroll will have to ratchet up his performances and stay on par with Perez if he wants to keep his seat I think.

I think Father Stroll will try to keep his son there, but it's only going to be possible if they can see an improvement in consistency, especially in Qualy. I don't think Racing Point is in any hurry to make the decision yet though.

M5theonlyone Where did you read there's no room for Seb at Racing Point, I'd like to read that article as well.

Interesting. The article notes that the duration of Lance's contract was unknown, but also that they have "long term contracts" with both of their drivers. Maybe still a spot for 2022 for Seb then.

And just to play devil's advocate, maybe the long term refers to and includes past years. There wasn't any specificity on whether the long term was future or not.

in FP2 someone from Racing Point said Lance has a long term contract but actually its funny even commentator made fun of this "contract" thing since his dad runs the team.. im not a Perez fan but he at least 1-2 level higher driver than Lance.. i believe in 1-2 years at most Lance ll fall out of F1..
