Did some research and found out the German Configurator with the LCI is already up, compared to us waiting for it in July.

With all the news sites mentioning that the car 'arrives in July 2022', I imagine the US Configurator should go live any day now.

The Sales Manager at Steve Thomas BMW said they already have slots open and will be able to submit them mid-July.

The 3-Series US Configurator is now live with the 2023 models.

Things to note:

- ID8 on the G80s and G20s
- Personal eSIM 5G appears to be available on most models
- 50th Emblems look like they'll be available on both 2022 and 2023 builds
- In the G20 M340i config, if you swap from base/MP Trim to Shadowline Trim and then back to base/MP Trim, you get laser lights. Probably a glitch.
- No carbon fiber roof like the UK/GER Configs allowed?

The ordering guide for the MY23 M240i sates that the anniversary badges are available through December 22 production, I assume that will be the case here too

What's the wait these days? Chips still short?

LCI looks good - i like the grill design a lot more than the M3; M340i with CfRP roof would be the bomb

Good grief.. the Sport trim looks much better now. Sorta makes it a mimi M3. The pre-LCI Sport looked so sad, even when compared to my teacher's F30 320i ED, that looked bearable. Also it seems like Luxury is now gone, it met the same fate as Modern from F3x it seems.

Pre-LCI lower dash + bmw ix screen on top looks a bit wonky. Must see in person.

Looks overall nice, good to see lighter silver colors are back.

No laser light at all. Only adaptive led available, but it looks like the laser version previously.
