I noticed the valves seem to open above 3-3.5k in comfort. Is this accurate or am I just hearing things?

So you're right. They do open around there and mostly under harder acceleration in comfort. But I said the hell with the valves. I'm running them wide open at all times.

I know what you're talking about regarding the sound when you hit 3K in Comfort Mode. I don't actually think the valves are opening but its more that the turbo is hitting boost and the wonderful Dinan is letting that music flow out through the "muffler". The difference when the valves are truly open in any sport mode is just too great.

I could be wrong of course, but that is what it seems like on my car.

i wouldnt trip too much over the warranty for exhaust imo

the exhaust is pure aesthetics to me and changes the sound yea it may add some hp here and here and create more flow, but you wont see anything significant until you do a downpipe and tune.

only the warranty inregards to the exhaust will be void, but what really goes wrong with the exhaust? it just lets the air out and creates sound so go with what you like best as far as sound and value of the exhaust.

right now i think the AWE is front runner imo and Dinan and MPE is right there. to each its own i think the quad dual exhaust looks nasty on the G20s

theres my 2cents lol

Valvetronic is bringing out exhaust for the g20, I'm going to be the first car to be having their exhaust system, it should be in my hands in a few weeks.

So I tested it out and it didn't fit, they need to make some revisions and send out another one

Any new developments on this?

I'm in the market and looking at MPE, Dinan, AWE and Innotech. The only issue I have with the AWE is that it loses the valves. I would prefer to be able to choose when I want to be obnoxious or not
