Hey all so I currently have a 2022 330l and I
recently purchased the BM3 tune 93 octane
stage one tune and I try to flashing on my car at
all the necessary steps doing accessory mode
all that good stuff and when I flash it and it somewhat goes through
but I don't get flash successful complete and
when I drive it feels a tad bit faster but that's
only sometimes so it's like half-and-half
whenever it wants to be and the screenshot I
put below is what it shows after the flash any.
help on how to successfully flash this please let
me know thank you
(i never got that 1% 2% 3% 4%……. loading screen)

From the BM website:

"*** Vehicles with November 2019+ software may require DME unlock done on the bench to enable OBD flashing. If you have the November 2019+ software update, feel free to contact support@protuningfreaks.com for details"


2022 DMEs are locked by default, is yours unlocked? I see that you bought 93 octane & CA has mainly 91 octane - why 93 octane tune as opposed to 91?

i fill my car up with 93 octane that's why not sure if that's why it's not tunting maybe beacuse i'm trying a 93 octane tune and not 91 and also how do i unlock my dme i tried doing unlock and flash it didn't work but i started the car the tone was a bit deeper

You're lucky to have 93 octane available in your area. It might come as a surprise but your DME is locked from the factory. Here is a thread to start reading up on the subject:

its crazy after all this time nobody in the US can unlock the DME!?

I had BM3 fail on me also I have 2019 330i however had my software update to 2020+ and DME locked however I got my DME unlocked and was able to successfully code through my laptop via OBD and Ethernet. Did a stage one 91 tune with only a cold air intake installed on my car. Make sure to have driver seatbelt clicked in. I was very worried actually because I was warned that Bm3 might Brick the DME. To avoid this just turn off automatic updates and make sure to not accept an update. You should preferably do this when you’re not going to take your car into a dealer because they will update and it will erase the tune and relock DME.

The DME for 2021+ MY cars are locked.
