Son in laws new car
Son in law picked up his new quasi company car today... 440i 2 door with M Performance body kit and 405 wheels... white with black interior.... should be a bit of fun for 3 months until he gets the next one, and a nice buy for someone when back on Coppers forecourt then....
Here it is... Last edited by isleaiw1; 07-06-2018 at 12:07 PM.. |

Not a lot - they get some cost based deal with a future value that means his monthly payment wouldn't cover a fiesta....
There are restrictions what they can have though - apparently individual paint won't stack up financially.... |

Never understand why so many dealer showroom M3 and M4 have individual paint. Yes they do stand out and attract some buyers but when you see £4K for paint alone it is very off putting.

He did try for one in individ paint but that, the carbon pack and MPPSK wouldn't fit criteria to work for their employee finance....
He has a list price cap of £66k so currently planning what to have for winter - probably an SUV, maybe an X3 if my daughter gets her way. Describes this one as his anti social mid life crisis car - he is 32!! |

Nice looking car my only issue with the 20" wheels is the lack of side wall very low profile but not very wide so you hardly get any side wall.

Edit - now I have seen the car I see what you mean - the tyres look almost stretched to fit the rim so next to no protection. Sure my daughter wont curb it at all, ever... or ground the splitter on a kerb... Last edited by isleaiw1; 07-09-2018 at 04:57 AM.. |
