M track days sounds like much better fun. You can’t get much of a feeling on any BMW with a 15 minutes test drive.

Finally coming back to Miami for the first time since 2015. I also signed up for Tampa, perfect excuse to do this and Busch Gardens. Beer and Bimmers weekend!

I like doing these for the hell of it since I'm like 5 mins away. Gimme 15 mins of autocross in the new 3 series and maybe another BMW swell bottle or other swag. Last year was the x2 and I think e5 series. Before that was the regular 5 series.

I did the UDE many years ago . had a blast and still have my bright yellow UDE jacket I talked them out if.. I want to sign my kid up for the teen driving!! That is awesome but dont see a link or registration for it.

I was at the Chicago event last year on a first Saturday I believe. We got kicked out because of a thunderstorm lol.

Right now you can only sign up to be notified of registration.

Not only are these Ultimate Drive Events free, they sometimes also give you a rebate towards a new car. I did one a few years ago and drove 4-5 new BMWs and also received (I think) $1,000 off of the 340i I leased later that year.

I miss the days when these events occurred at various dealers. I don't care much for autocross events as I can't get a feel for a car in 30 seconds behind the wheel. Plus, it's much more convenient for me to access the event. I'm not driving to Citizens Bank Park to drive some cars for 30 seconds at a time.

yes, they do it every year. most years i do it twice during the same tour. just signed up for the dc one in april. always fun to beat up (even if only for a bit) on a car that's not yours.
