COMMENTS

Alpina will debut its 2020 B3 Touring at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month. The B3 Touring will feature the same turbo 3.0L inline 6 as the M340i, but with performance upgrades. We expect the Alpina B3 to boast more than 400bhp and 440lb-ft.

Here's a first official preview image from Alpina (we've teased out some more details).

I was saying I can't wait to see how they look on the new car together as one whole, i i know how the wheels look, but in my opinion, Alpina wheels usually improve the looks of BMW's so I'm curious to see how it will do on the G20

To each his own. I can't stand the new grills IRL. Not quite hate, buy damn near close.

I know right! So glad they finally styled the msport bumper instead of just the normal no line bumper. Then again with no 340i offered they had no choice. It's not like they were going to waste time on the 330. There is nothing that can save the non msport bumper IMO

This is a car I'm going to watch for. I'm not too concerned about the looks. They usually make somewhat subtle, tasteful cosmetic changes. The >400 hp and 440 lb ft figures are what I'm more interested in. I wonder what they'll do with the suspension.

It looks pretty good. I'm on to your plan BMW - - showing us some horrific 7 and X7 grilles, so that merely massive grilles look pretty good by comparison

You are right on.
The Europe is invaded from wagons. Mine family had 15 of them over 40 years. Ant that's all they buy.

If Alpina and BMW decided to bring this vehicle to the US, it would be difficult to keep it in stock. Nice job, Alpina!

Too bad B3 and B5 will not be for sale in US.
I test drove a b7 here once and have to say Alpina make out of BMW what it should be. It is a perfect recipe for a car with dual personality. Perhaps it can be described as a perfect mold of dual personality into one turning unrefined BMW model into what it should be.

there's no chance you're right.

however, i could see lots of 320 models with fake badging and knock off wheels.. they might even throw an M on there for good measure
