Went 12.08 on stock all season 19s at 36psi cold, zero modifications, full weight. Very nice.

Very impressive for stock and with even a slight tune it'll be in the 11s.

For comparison my F30 340xi did around 12.65 @ 108.8mph stock.

Were you on 93 octane?

Yea 93 from Sam's, did nothing but drive there, seeing 11psi on sport gauges.

It feels quicker than my jb4 f30 did

Very impressive! If you don't mind me asking....is your car a very early build? Or, is it fairly new. Even if it's an early build, did you have the dealership do any software updates over the past few months? The updates are supposedly robbing the cars of 50+ hp, and unless you have a real early build with no updates, that makes your time/trap even more impressive.

Nice job! Did you use launch control?

A lot of people will be in the 11's with good conditions. That 60ft time looks like it could be better too. These cars are really quick. I just picked up an M5 yesterday and can say in normal driving the M340 is quicker. If you hammer it at 40mph it gets to 60mph faster than the M5 (draggy verified). After that the M5 pulls way harder though.

60'd best in sport plus dsc off, foot brake, lc was more like 1.85... I cant make it 60 well, may be the programming or limitations of the stock converter.

Do you have adaptive dampers?

Just wondering if launching in “comfort” would be best... get better traction off the line.

I do and I tried dampers in both modes, it just doesn't attempt to launch hard maybe I held the brake too long staging etc... not sure I'll try some more.

I’m not convinced it’s BS, but I would argue people ignore how much transmission gearing and torque output can impact acceleration. I think both of these are a bigger factor than given credit for. A lot of the time, when I want to drive somewhat aggressively, I stick to the midrange because I don’t see a huge difference compared to full throttle peak horsepower.

Anyone tested the RWD yet? There’s a ~150lbs weight advantage so could see higher trap speeds?

I did mine with a dragy. Trapped at 114.5 mph. Couldn't hook up off the line. Someone needs to run the i at an actual track. I have a feeling it'll be high 11's. I'd take mine if I could but the nearest track is almost 2 hours away with traffic.

Isn't there a better yard stick for normal driving, like 30 to 60 or something?

I don't get the obsession with ss 1/4 mile.

Why is BMW detuning the car to begin with?

I thought that was only in Europe. How is the suspension on x drive and is it higher ride height? This was an issue with F30 xdrive.

Great results Is3c6 !

Try lowering the air pressure and turning stability completely off...

No- there isn't a US update that is doing this. Are you in the USA?
