Does anyone have Oyster Vernasca with Aluminum Mesh trim?

Hello everyone,

I recently ordered a new 330e, alpine white with oyster vernasca and aluminium mesh trim. Does anyone have this combo? I知 not sure about the white seats with aluminum mesh and I guess I still have time to change it (anything but piano black style trim).

Also interested in the white exterior with white leather combo feedback

Thank you!

I would do open pore oak. I think the aluminum mesh will look kind of washed out with the oyster.

Dark open pore would work well.

I ordered mine on Friday, and I went for the open pore oak, the silver colour with oyster seats will make it look too cold instead of stylish, in my opinion.

Regarding the exterior colour, I think contrast is nice, so white on white was a no- go for me. I chose the mineral gray, with the M-Sport trim.

Yup, go with the dark open pore oak. Oyster is a very bright interior given the lower dash is also oyster. I'm another one with this combo and it's great.

I think you are convincing me to change to dark open pore oak! My only concern about dark open pore oak is if it doesn’t look too "vintage". I liked wood interiors... 20 years ago.

I think you current choice is fine. There should be enough contrast between the slightly off-white Oyster and the silver. The tetragon interior would also work I think. The tetra and silver mesh gives a slightly more modern vibe, whereas the oak would give a bit more "warmth" to the cabin.

Thank you emeer. You all are now driving me crazy

That was my thought (a bit more modern look and enough contrast with the Sensatec dashboard and Vernasca Oyster) but I have that conflict. It would be great to find huge detailed pictures... but i don't find them.

I guess I still have some days to decide, so all comments are highly appreciated.

Yeah, these choices are highly personal and its of great help if you can actually see trims before you order, but sometimes this is not possible.

To give you some context, in my current X2 I have Oyster with interior trim similar to tetragon. I think this looks very nice. The Oyster lightens the interior and the trim provides a slight young / techy feel. Exterior color is Mineral Grey which provides nice contrast.

However, I have a 330e on order. And in this build I went with Tanzarite II exterior with Cognac and Oak open pored with leather dash as this provides classy and warm interior.

Btw, I spent countless hours on youtube to get a feel for the different trims

Thank you again emeer I think the aluminium mesh trim is lighter than Tetragon, is that correct?

In any case, as I知 eager for info, do you have any good YouTube links to see those trims better?

Sure, you can find a few good pictures here of various interior combinations related to your spec in this thread:

https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1608148

And yes, aluminium mesh is abit lighter than the tetragon. However I think both would work, but maybe the tetragon provides slightly better contrast to the light Oyster interior.

Also, if you are ordering sensatec dash then you may also consider going all the way with Individual leather dash (4M5 Option). In addition to providing smooth soft nappa leather the lower part will be black also on Oyster / Carrerra beige / Cognac interiors. I think this provides a cleaner look. You can see this in the configurator when you select Leather dash. But as I mentioned, these things are personal, my spec may not be your spec

Some youtube videos:

Oyster w/oak:

Oyster w/ Piano black:

Oyster w/ Tetragon:

Black w/ Aluminium mesh:

Cognac w/oak and full leather dash (my spec):

Thank you so much eemer!
I知 just even more confused... I just like them all

I would love to see oyster+oak and oyster+aluminium at the dealership, but I知 afraid that won稚 happen.

PS: I will just keep enjoying watching videos

Thank you very much eddiehaug! (great help from you guys, you make this a great forum!). I was at that thread, somehow I missed that page I guess

I like the look (but I think i like them all, which is good I guess).

Portimao that is definitely Oyster Vernasca seats, but is it Aluminium Mesh or Tetragon? How do you like that trim with your oyster leather? Thanks!

I知 going to change my opinion. I envisioned the aluminum mesh to be lighter than it is. I think it has plenty of contrast to look good with the oyster leather. I also think Alpine White and Oyster will be a good combination.

Have you seen aluminium mesh in person? Your feedback makes me more confident

I talked today with my car dealership and they will get a sample of aluminium and another one of oak so i can compare. Probable wont be the same as seeing it on a car but it痴 worth to try. In any case with some of your last statements I am going back to think oyster w/aluminium can make the best combo for me

Regarding the white on white (alpine with oyster) I was very convinced since I saw a Tesla Model 3 like that, and i do not think our G20 would look any worse. It looked sporty but elegant to me.
