My 2020 M340i
Just picked up two weeks ago and now will be selling the 2019 G20 330i. Loved everything about the 330 but drove the M340 and that was all it took. Pics below, with a few mods...window tint, painted the slats in the grill black, installed front lip, moved the 20in BMW forged wheels from my 330 to this car and added the Mperformance side decals. Removed the OE rear lip spoiler and ordered a larger one. FYI...this car feels quicker than my M4, especially off the line.

Congrats, very nice mods. It must be great to get the car you want versus having to compromise.
PS. what did you use to spray the grill slats?

very nice car! congrats!! but i would put some sideskirts and rear diffusor on it to finish the look, because the front is way lower now. i also would do spacers in the back und lower the ca just a little bit :-)

Is Your M4 also on 20"? How do you compare the ride comfort between M4 and 340i? Thanks |

Now I'm starting to think it looks better with grill slats. With the new 4 having a massive grill this will look dated soon. The GC will be better looking and the LCI is definitely getting a bigger grill in 2022.

I am already looking forward to the facelift but now you come and shatter my dreams. I don't like the big grill and if it were to be adapted to the G20 in the next years, I may have to look at another marque.

Hopefully it's only the GC but it might start looking like the 7 series. Though the 5 series LCI has the same grill so we'll see.

We shall wait and see but I don't think I will like this new big grill at all, too polarizing. I don't mind the G20 grill at all.

Thank you EXE46, should have started with this one but live and learn. I actually didnt spray them. I had some black touch up paint and did them one by one. Took about 15 min and even up close, came out great.

Thx and the lip was the buy of the century. In fact, so much so that I just bought another as a backup in case this one ever gets damaged.
Look up this item in Ebay: $82.95 sold by motorfansclub. Its flexible plastic, covered/clear coated with carbon fiber. Comes in three pieces and they fit perfectly and screw into the underside of the front bumper panel. You can install just the two side winglets or go with all three peices like I did. Took about 30 min to install while laying on the garage floor. Ebay item: For BMW G20 G28 Front Bumper Lip Spoiler Splitter 2019-2020 3X Carbon Fiber Look |

Unfortunately these wheels are 20s only and if you dont live in CA or live in an area with questionable roads, potholes, etc. these wont last long because as you can see, not much tire sidewall absorbing bumps.
Car is Mineral Grey. |

Agreed... waiting on the side skirt extension prices to come down a little. China has copies but still pricy and they are identical. Rear diffuser, waiting a little as I am undecided on whether to go with the same exhaust tips I have now or dual rounds on each side, like M3/M4.
I have spacers already, from ESC Tuning but cant recall if I did the 12.5 fronts and 10 rears or the opposite. Lowering wont happen though. with the front splitter I am already driving angled into my drive way and some areas around town. Any lower and will be a bigger pain. Right now not too bad! |

M4 I got rid of last year but it was on the OE 19s M437 wheels. Ride was pretty close to the same between that car and this one with the 20s but I had more sidewall so while the ride was about the same, the tires had more room to absorb. That really just means I had a little more room to worry less about damaging a wheel if I hit rough roads. When I say ride was about the same, I am referring to rough spots. Going down the highway and driving around town, this car is way more comfortable and smoother ride.
