New version? Looks different from the last homage, or maybe that was 2002 vs 3.0 CSL.

Praying the new radical grill on the 4 series and M3/M4 looks likes this and the concept was just their way of easing us into the design. A fanboy can dream right…

I was also thinking the same thing when I saw how much better the grills look on this Homage compared to the leaked photos for the next M4.

This grill is significantly better than everything we have been seeing. Its bigger and shaped differently for sure but it looks proportional. It doesn't look like an after-thought.

That's absolutely not happening, but SCOTT has hinted that the G42/G87 (particularly the latter, I suppose) will borrow some elements from this car. I wouldn't expect reactions like, "Wow - that's a dead ringer for the 3.0 Hommage!"; however, I suspect the front end will look similar.

Looks great in concept form, question is though, how much of the design will BMW be able to successfully use/incorporate into an upcoming vehicle while still adhering to safety standards/production expectations. Based on the 4-series' concept and current spy shots I'm not as hopeful in BMW's design team, but hoping to be proven wrong.

yeah very true, atleast for the front end it won't come out looking exactly like this due to stupid pedestrian crash laws.

What motor do you think they have in that prototype? Sounds like a B58 to me
