Polishing Gloss Black Door Trim

Does anyone have a good method for removing swirls from the gloss black door trim? Ive tried hitting it with meguairs m105/205 and a foam cutting pad without much success.

My go to on those is always CarPro Essence with Griot's BOSS pads, yellow or orange.

These seem to vary quite a bit from mfg. to mfg. too. Sometimes they come out perfect and sometimes just removing the polish introduces some micro marring.

Thanks! I've never heard of CarPro Essence but it seems promising, I'll give it a shot!

I've just used Scholl S20 black on both a Green Chem Guys Hexlogic, and ShineMate Orange spot pad with near perfect results on both

I had a clear bra applied to mine. Tons of swirls before I did.

Whoa that's a great idea. Something like XPEL ultimate? Might see if the XPEL installer I used before would be able to do it.
