Has anyone let the car park itself yet?

I know it has some nifty features, can’t really remember how to use the, tbh, reversing out of tight spaces etc

I just can’t bring myself to try the feature out though

Haven't tried the auto park as yet as keep forgetting too but use the auto reverse all the time as our driveway is narrow & it's a brilliant feature.

I use the parallel parking feature all the time and it is very good. It has never come close to clipping the kerb with the alloys.
The only issue I had was when it tried to reverse up a kerb in a space at the end of a bay of spaces. For some reason it did not detect the kerb and kept trying to reverse.

Yes I use it to reverse park into a space all the time. Works really well and I can gather all my stuff whilst it's doing it!

I use it most of the time. I only parallel park myself now when the space is too tight for the system to have a go. Never a single issue. 99% of the time is perfectly straight as well. First few times I was nervously looking at all the mirrors/reverse camera. Now I'm just enjoying the ride.

Does it ever have issues with curbs? I never use it because I think it's going to rub my rim against a curb.

Yes, I use it quite often, I like it...

It's managed to park in some fairly tight spots to be fair when testing it, and never curbed a wheel... leaves a sensible 4-6" I would say... give it a go, trust in the car

No, not a single time it hit the curb. It's partly the reason I'm using it. It's doing much better job avoiding curbs than me

Never had an issue! Always leaves 4-6" I would say... it seems a very good system.

I've also used for Perpendicular parking, and put it pretty much smack bang in the middle of the space with a mid manoeuvre shuffle too.

From what I can see the car can do the self parking and reversing out of tight spots up to 50 yards. My understanding is that the parking assistant plus comes with 360 view and driver recorder and that’s it. I’m I missing something?

For those who don’t have it, do you wish you had added it?
And for those who do have it, do you use it regularly?

I have gone for the plus as I have 360 cameras on my present Volvo and love them, plus i understand the recorder substitutes for a camera, which saves a lot of hassle getting one of those fitted.
I don't have the car yet so can't help more.

I don't have the parking assist plus (360° camera), but still have parking assist and reverse assistant on my UK G20.
Reverse camera is standard, so I believe both systems are also available as standard?

Yes I definitely recommend you go for it, it's so much easy to live with, maybe to the point that it makes you a bit lazy but honestly it's a great system. Unfortunately my car is an early build so no recorder for me but I'd still have a dashcam on board I think even if I did have it as the DR only records 20 secs before & after an incident unless you manually press record.

Would I spec it again if I was building the car? Yes.
Do I use it regularly? Yes the reverse assistant most days but have yet to give parking assistance a try but after having watch the video I'll need to remind myself to do it today.

I wish I had 360 cameras. It parks and revers itself without it but it's just so cool to have cameras all around.

Not bothered about the recorder as I prefer to have my dash cam anyway.

The only reason I didn't tick that option was to stay below £40k price tag.

Indeed it's certainly not a normal splitter wrecking roadside curb!
