I was thinking of doing this then opted for the mids with built in tweeters for both front and rears.

Hey guys,
I recently installed the amp and now my turn signal noise is very loud. How did you guys fix this? Also, before I installed the amp, for some reason my turn signal noise was coming out from the passenger side speaker as well (I have the base 6 speaker stereo). Anyone know a fix? |

I got the installer to reduce it in the tune. Not sure what he actually did though... maybe just reduced that actual frequency? It was horrific for a while and now has it is OK.

Good to know. Still waiting for them to get back to me. Figure it will be a while with the holidays. I tried disabling the fake engine noise with BimmerCode but I don't feel like it worked. Guess I'll see how things improve when someone from Bimmertech can walk me through properly configuring the amp.

I'm wondering: Does indicator sound comes through all channels or just some (front, front-left ? The same question for fake engine sound?

Indicator doesn't seem to go through every speaker. ASD comes through it's own speaker under the car near the exhaust. That at least seems to be the case for mine as it was obviously coming from there when it was much louder. I have no exhaust noise from the inside car speakers.

I am still hearing the ASD even though I have it turned off in Bimmercode. If I rev the engine when stopped, it sounds normal, but as soon as I start driving it sounds really fake and loud. Still crossing my fingers on configuring the bimmer-tech amp when they get back to me.
I heard of people pulling the fuse to the ASD, is that possible in the 2022 G20s? I didn't do a lot of testing before/after installing the amp so this wasn't something I really noticed until everything, including the turn signal, got a lot louder. Other than that, the speakers sound great. I really like the amp, just need to work out these minor issues. |

Was wondering what would happen if I connected the Match UP 7DSP to their pp-iso cable with no external battery connection? As I have already the Match pp62dsp installed and I’d like to basically just swap them out for like 5 min to have a listen without actually grab cables from battery. I have the base sound system btw. Thanks

99% sure you can't pull the fuse as it's part of the RAM and I doubt it's powered separately... wouldn't make sense. |

The reason of connecting these amps directly to the battery is not to mess up the OEM wiring when the amp draw current in excess of the OEM wiring capacity. |
