Hi, finally got rid of Npower and moved to Octopus so I can take advantage of their 4 hr off peak cheap rate electricity (5p kwh). Prior to this I would simply plug in the car and charge anytime of day (16p kwh) but now need to time it so draws power between hours of 00:30 and 04:30.
I am now having to send the early hours timed charging instruction from the connected app on a daily basis along with a departure time.
Does anyone know if you can just have that set as default?
If I plug the car in without sending the instructions, it starts to charge immediately of course. Just seems a faff to do this every day.

Octopus service is absolutely spot on by the way. Can't praise them highly enough unlike Npower who are dreadful, and I am now getting a full charge for 50p!(smart meter needed)

Use your charger's app to only activate it during the off peak hours? Most units allow you to set when they are active - plug the car in when you get home and let the app do the rest.......

My F30 you can set a schedule in the car. Each time you stop.
I've never used it but you only need it each time you stop, not every day if the car has not been used??
