Mod friendly how?
I swapped my F22 steering wheel for an Alcantara wheel, swapped my steering wheel trim to M2 front/rear trim, and Sterling BMW still warrantied my clock spring when it went bad. I swapped my stock black chrome exhaust tips to 340i chrome tips and they still warrantied a defective exhaust valve. I'm doubtful any local service centers are friendly to engine mods now that BMW's software is detecting all tunes.

New century is in the middle of tuning country, I'm sure they know what hooliganry their customers are up to. So long as you don't flash the ecu or touch the actual engine you'll be fine.
