I think I have the most expensive M340!!

120,228.77k for buy out of an M340i?! Am I reading this right?
I hope this makes a lot of people feel good about their purchase.
Here's what I paid for my shitty lease. Yes, I'm bitter about something unrelated to the cost of the car. If you followed my previous post you would understand.
What bothers me most is that I bought it used with suspension and brake issues beyond repair. These incompetent dealer mechanics keep returning my vehicle with a suspension out of spec and the same brake issues I've been having since day one. I'm noticing a whole bunch of shit in the documentation now. At a glance, my records show that the last dealer put on 222km. WTF! That's more than I put on their shitty loaner. There must be thousands of miles added with all the dealer visits combined. Thank God for GPS time stamps on photos. Retaliation is in order.

What's crazy is that I wouldn't have cared about the miles or noticed how much over MSRP I paid if they just did their fuckin job and fix the shit so I can enjoy it. Just like rent right? So can someone tell me what the highest you've seen the M340ix go for so I can feel a little better about myself?

You don't add the residual value to the full purchase price to get your buyout amount. It's not $120k. Also why did you spend fully optioned price (in Canada) for a used vehicle?? That's a seriously horrible deal if you did.

$13k down cash payment on what it appears as the lease?
Also, residual does not correspond to the MSRP shown there.

This is a Canadian lease. Our residuals are calculated differently than the US.

How do you get the full purchase price?

I know! They charged me full price on every option and accessory that was already on the car!
Can they do that?

I meant 120k in total cost.

I said I would put 10k down originally but they milked me for all this other stuff that makes no sense and I ended up paying $16.869.13 plus my 2k deposit they said they would just apply to the car. So it was more like 19k in upfront costs. Looks like the numbers are different on each page. I know I didn't get my deposit back, so maybe they pocketed it?

Things don't really add up to me. Someone, please help me make sense of things.

Are they really not suppose to charge me for options accessories already on the car if its used?

Unfortunately they can charge whatever ppl are willing to pay. Know that doesn't help here but in their defense they'll say you signed the papers etc so there won't be any real legal defense unless I'm missing something since it's a CAD vehicle

I still don't get this. You are leasing a used car that you're paying full "new car" price for? Can you back out? This seems like the worst deal ever...like in history.

I paid more than a full new car price, like 20k over what I agreed to pay for this lease. Not trying to make excuses for my incompetent purchase, but I was born with dyslexia and other mental ailments that prevented me from seeing things clearly.

They will get what's coming to them. Damn pack of greedy swindlers.

How much is a lease usually, like half the cost of MSRP?

What do you mean by it's "used"? Did it have a previous owner? Was it a demo? I'm assuming it has every option? If so then your lease price is exactly on the spot when you configure it online with $10,000 down payment. The only thing I don't understand about this is the whole used part.

Paper work shows 0km on odometer. Are you sure this car wasn't new?

Exactly. If it's new, this is a normal deal in Canada - yes our leases suck (just looks like he fully optioned the car out and took all the damage insurance packages).

Yes I'm confused too. But coming to think of it, it's almost impossible to get a brand new car with 0 miles/Kms on the odo. The least I've seen is 3 miles (when I got my car). Average I've seen is 5-10 miles.

I think by used he means that her had issues from day one and been back and forth with the dealership. If that's the case, the car is still new and this pricing makes sense.

Yup. If that is the case, then yes. It does look like a decent deal for Canada. From what I've heard from you as well as other friends.

re. the 2k deposit, double check your bank statement around the day of the purchase, you should see a debit of 14,869.13 as that was the amount due on delivery after deducting your 2k deposit. If you see a debit of 16,869.13 then the dealer has some explaining to do.

True, I got mine with 11 miles on it since they obviously do QC and testing prior to shipping. Dealership maybe just rounded it down for the OP's vehicle? That is odd nonetheless

Why would you buy it at new car price then? What options does it have? That's more expensive than if you build in every option including exclusive paint and full merino leather interior. Does it have a bunch of M Performance add on parts? Do you have a list of what's included?
