Would these rims fit a X3 M40i?

Just changed my G31 540i Xdrive to a X3 M40i, I have a set of almost new winter wheels from the 540i left sitting in my garage. They are black 664M shod with Pirelli Sottozero 3's. They are staggered, so 8J x 19 front and 9J x 19 rear. If I changed the tires to new winter tires with the correct width and profile to keep the same rolling diameter of the std 21 inch wheels, would any one know if these rims would fit my new X3?

If your "540" wheels are 5x112mm bolt circle then yes, the offsets will probably work. Have you tried to see if the "540" wheels will bolt up to the X3 hubs?

I'm betting they won't unless your "540" wheels are from a "G" 5 series.

The 540i wheels are 5 x112. They are off my Oct 2017 540i Drive Touring.

Found this data:

X3 M40i
245/40ZR21 100Y 8.5Jx21 ET30
275/35ZR21 103Y 9.5Jx21 ET43

540i Xdrive Touring
245/40ZR19 98Y 8Jx19 ET30
275/35ZR19 100Y 9Jx19 ET44

So the 540i rims are 0.5 narrower and the rear offset is 44 vs 43 for the X3 rim.

Can anyone tell me if this is a significant difference or no issue with 275/45/19 rears and 245/50/19 fronts fitted?

The other option is to try to sell them off and buy new winters for the X3, just looking for the cheapest option.

You can test options including spacers , offset tyre/tire sizes here....
