Is this available for the G01? It's not listed as such, but says it's finally compatible with HK systems.

no, only available for HK and idrive 6 systems, because in idrive 7, the amp is split in two (RAM and booster)

My G02 has HK and iDrive 6 but says not available

i called bavsound about this back in December, they now have the correct wiring harness for i drive 6 so it would work in my 2019 x4 but they only had a few of these and by the time i called they had none left, he said they will be up and running with these by spring. I did not ask about ID 7 because that didn't apply to mine.

Do you know if the Revenant amp is plug & play & forget? By the "forget" part I mean does it simulate the AMPT module so that my dealership will be able to update the software in the car? Or will I need to reinstall the original amp before a dealer visit because the car will report errors with the Revenant amp and not allow the dealer to complete a software update?

Great question. Upgrades like this impact dealer SW updates

I have a 2019, so also iDrive 6. Slightly disconcerting if it should work but they aren’t knowledgeable about it.

Currently researching this. I want to pull the trigger on an amp upgrade within the next month. Has anyone confirmed this will work on pre-2020 HK G01's?

Maybe? Even if it does "technically" work, until they program the EQ for the G01 cabin it's worthless.
