Hi All in Europe

Simple straight forward query relating to what I presume is an overdue Sat Nav Map for Europe.

BMW normally issues four maps per calendar year yet there's no indication as to when 2020-4 might be issued....am I alone in thinking this or have I missed the release...My BMW Download Manager still indicating Europe 2020-3 as the latest version.

Mine has automatically updated to 2020 - 4

My nbt-evo is at 2020-03 and 2020-04 not available. Yes, we will miss it, or they will release 2020-04 and two weeks later 2021-01, they did something similar this year.

But only for the local UK maps and not entire Europe.

My map for Germany is on 2020-04 as well.

Only the local map gets updated OTA, whole Europe package needs download onto an USB stick and manual install.

Cars with Business Nav system have 2020-04 as the latest version, Professional Nav System use EVO maps, and 2020-03 is the latest for the moment.

My car has auto updated region map for UK & IE, did so about 2 weeks ago. Whole europe loaded by usb is 2020-3 but region map now 2020-4. Car has ID7.

Road Map Europe LIVE 2020-4 is rolling out for those with MGU/iDrive 7 cars.

Road Map Europe Europe 2020-4 (for idrive 6) was NOT released today, and you'll have to wait a bit longer. Expect it to start appearing in download manager in the next week

Do you have NOrth America maps as well? We cannot download these maps in Canada like you do. Any help appreciated

There were no new North America maps released this week for live, just Europe, South America, China, Japan and Taiwan

Hi Again ...I always use BMW Download Manager are you suggesting there's another option? As I pointed out when I log into my account which is as you know associated with my VIN....only 2020-3 is currently available. I've used this method as I've described say 10 times previously. Then when downloaded it has to be verified and unpacked after which it can then be transferred on to a min 32Gb USB key.

I used the mac version of the download manager - not that it should make a difference! They are probably just rolling it out to a percentage daily to manage server load. When 2020-3 came out, it took 8 days to appear for me. 2020-4 appeared within 24 hours

You should consider yourselves lucky as us poor buggers in Australia and NZ got only one update in 2020 and a lot of road development was out of date as they actually pull it together in 2019.

I've enquired of BMW Australia when a new update for us is coming and in true BMW fashion...they had no idea!!!

I would one day love to meet that one solidarity person in BMW that actually does know what's going on as 99.99% of the others who make up BMW have no bloody idea or just make up BS.

Maybe BMW was partly involved in the Brexit deal
