Hi,
Is there the possibility of coding the remote start or it needs a specific hardware? I would like to activate the real air conditioning and not the only fan remotely

It can be retrofitted, but petrol only.

You need to add 1CR to your FA and VO Code the whole car (to be sure) or just these:
1D92 (FZD2)
3D0E (DSC_BRS)
3E52 (HU_MGU)
4508 (DKOMBI4)
51C9 (IHKA4)
7083 (BDC_BODY3)

Backup your ncd for those ECU if you have custom coding, so you can restore them if need be.

You also need an FSC and its unlikely a diesel model will have space for that in DME ECU - 0x17C. Check it in esys

I wasn't aware that it was possible to retrofit the remote start. If you can than that would be amazing! Have you tried the coding before? And isn't there supposed to be a extra key in the car as well for the remote start?

Petrol owners that could purchase the FSC and add it to the car, have reported it working.

That was nearly 2 years ago though

Curious, are BMW dealers in the UK amenable to applying a retrofit?

No, its not allowed here. There was a formal retrofit in countries where it is allowed, such as CA, but no chance of a UK dealer doing the retrofit.

Not even sure if they would sell the FSC. You'd need to get that from BMW (not UK) via a 3rd party
