Are there any after Tail light

Hi Guys!

I'm looking to add a new M4 to my garage, but I absolutely hate the new tail lights. I actually like the coffin grills and think they are pretty fucking cool, but I can't get past the Japanese style clear/red tail lights. Both the M4 and M3 look like they have tail lights taken from a Lexus IS. I'm an ass man (yep) so the hate for the tail lights is a total deal breaker unless there is a solution.

Are there any after market options yet where they are just red?

I haven't seen any. You could, obviously, get an M3 to get the other tail lights. I actually like the swoopy ones on the M4 a lot better. they seem more unique, sporty and stylish to me

There are "OLED-style" upgrades available for the G80 that are designed to look similar to the F82 CS.

Get a G80 instead of a G82 and you're in business.

Hoping an OLED thing comes out for the G82, would be interested in getting it potentially.

A few people on FB have swapped to the ones from CarbonCarzUK and seem to really like them. The startup sequence on them looks cool from the videos posted.

I agree....but he asked, I answered. I didn't do it on my F80 CS and I certainly won't do it on my G80.

@NCG80M3 just did this on his.

I'm generally not a huge fan of aftermarket lights but these are kinda neat and gets you the goal of having amber (if I read your post right).

The quality of them looks pretty good, I'd hope so too for $800.

I'm a bit weary of swapping to aftermarket lights as I think that could cause insurance problems in case of an accident but I do like how these look.

I was thinking a tail light that looks like a slim version of the F82's LCI's tails. I was almost 100% sure that is what BMW was going to do with the G82, kind of like the M8 without the skinny clear/smoked strip. But nope, they have gone straight Altezza. I wonder what a "red-out" wrap would look like. I recall people were doing this back when I had my pre LCI e92 because the LCI's LED tails were mostly red and looked much better.

Some of them are passable but it's all "eBay quality" shit. In my opinion (just my opinion), it doesn't belong on a bimmer.

I agree, I have always liked that OLED style, so it's too bad there isn't a better way to do it. F it though. Love the M4 tails regardless.

You love the G82 M4's tails? If so, I'm screwed. If everyone likes the Japanese Altezza look there is no way any after market company will create a fix for me.

After watching the video all the way through, I'm kind of disappointed the "Dragon scales" don't actually light up when braking.

Compared to stock, these look to have half the amount of illuminated area for brake lights. NCG80M3 have you driven behind these yet to notice any difference? Are they bright enough to get attention?

I just want those Euro taillights for the M4, with the thin amber blinking strip. Don't know why we couldn't get these for North America.

If any of my Europe brethren see these for sale off a totaled M4, please let me know, I would much appreciate it.
