Anyone change to more supportive seats?

Love the car, but hate the seats. Looking at options that can feel better and provide better support. Anyone here change to anything?

I wonder if the G80 M3 carbon bucket seats would fit as a plug and play, and if I can order them online somewhere.

They should bolt right up, they even bolt in F series cars.

You will have to figure out the coding or find a very good guy at it. Best way to get these seats will probably be from a wrecked car. I would encourage you to try them out first as they are a "commitment" to daily.

The G80 carbon bucket seats are racing spec so it has reduced padding/cushion, no adjustable lumbar, has power adjustment(including side bolsters).

The main issue for me is it takes dexterity to get into and out of, and makes it tricky as comfy daily driving option.

So it's not really plug and play because there's some coding involved? Dealership could't do it for example? Just curious.

Oh, regarding the comfort, I've tried them in the M3 and M4 on several occasions. I love them, super comfortable for me personally, a lot more so than the regular seats.

Another option are M Performance seats, but I don't see any for the G20 platform - just the F cars. Like these:

You could code it (or have it coded) for easy entry. That is where the seat slides all the way back when you shut down the car and back forward when you start it up to your stored position.

As the designer of the carbon seat says, "You have to be a bit athletic to get in and out ...."

The M sport seat may be an option to consider too.
