In production until 10/25 (G20) and 06/26 (G21)
LCI 07/22. Worldwide 318i, 320i, 320ix, 330i, 330ix, M340i (G20 only), M340ix, 320e, 330e, 330ex, 316d, 318d, 320d, 320dx, 330d, 330dx, M340dx, Alpina B3, Alpina D3S; US (G20 only) 330i, 330ix, M340i, M340ix, 330e, 330ex. Will get the new interface package. No engine changes with the exception of Alpina B3 tune to 490hp.
No fully electric models
03/24: likely date for engine refresh (possibly US specific)

I think the normal "not notched" headlight is good idea.

That looks like the new M2 headlights above the 3's, in the second to last picture. It has the black surround that matches the shape of the leaked M2 bumper. Everything else looks to be a downgrade for the G20.

That bottom picture looks close to the shape of the headlights, flat bottom and slight curve towards the outer edge. Hopefully I'm wrong because I don't like what I'm seeing in either case

I started to write that I agree with you. That his doesn't follow any of BMW's recent design strategies, especially reducing the body color portion of the bumper between the grille and lower intakes to just a couple of CM. Then I remembered what some LCI X3 renderings looked like. (https://www.bmwblog.com/2021/05/12/2...ift-rendering/) This is awfully similar.

I disliked the notch in the headlights on the G20, but now that I see this spy shot, that area looks too bare and generic. Funny how our eyes adjust with time.

That "orange at the edge" looks like a separate part behind the headlight, not in the headlight itself.

This is what I was thinking . Bmw is literally already making electric cars for China. This can just be one sitting around over there either being tested or inspected but chances are it's real. Well atleast for the Chinese market.
