Picked up a Brooklyn Grey G22 today[IMG][/IMG]

Very nice look.

I have a G26 on order and thinking of changing my color from TanzaniteBlue to BG. Looks like you got the shadowline package? One of the reasons I picked TB is to blend the grill into rest of the car with TB + shadowline. How pronounced the grill is with BG in your opinion?
Also, you have a body color side skirt. I thought shadowline force you to have a black sideskirt which might make this car look off the ground more than it really is. How did you avoid that?

Yes I got the shadow line package. BG actually blends the grill pretty well in my opinion. Grill is not as pronounced as I expected, really getting used to it. The shadowline black side skirts are only for the g26. You could easily paint match it. I've seen some g80/g82 that got the black side skirts paint matched. Go for BG! Was also considering tanzanite, but it's literally going to get dirty 10 min after wash

Haha thanks and yep. I was surprised to see there wasn’t an official BG thread until you made it recently. As soon as I saw BMW added BG to the list, I had to order. By far my favourite colour for the G22. It’s a hard colour to photo correctly I think. It looks completely different in the flesh, much more like a metallic Nardo.

IND do the fender badges, are you going to order a set?

Love your MP 20’s btw… they should have been like that from the factory. Looks perfect 👍🏻

I actually didn't order my car. But, the day it arrived at the dealer, I came to take a look at it and was instantly sold on it. So I was one of the first to get a Brooklyn Grey G22 in the US

Yes IND makes the reflector delete, but I don't think I will be getting them. Had a reflector delete on my f30 and just found it to be out of place. I don't know maybe that's just my opinion. But most likely keeping the reflectors this time around.

The 795m makes the car way more aggressive. The wheel gap is also correct now. With the 19 inch it's just too much gap. Steering feels a bit lighter as well. The wheels are so light. Could pick them up easily with 1 hand. Ordered the wheels from the dealer and my service advisor said the tires weighed more then the wheels. Definitely worth the upgrade!

I’ll be removing mine and replacing with gloss black all round, including the M440i badge. Also going to remove the XDrive badge.

If cerium is your thing you must be able to get them on eBay etc.

Yeah the 19’s make it look under-wheeled imo. I love the style of the 19s I have but it needs 20s with a lower profile tyre.

Got you. I'm considering getting the black emblems as well. But next on the list for me is definitely the M performance exhaust. Want to do a front lip and trunk spoiler but gonna wait for a year or two until more options are available in the market.

About to order an M440i in BG as well. Frustrating here in the uk, I want the shadowline pack, but not black wheels.

There is a smaller shadowline pack you can order, thats just the grills and lights, but for some reason they then give you body colour mirrors instead of leaving them Cerium Grey to match the wheels.
