Hello everyone,

I have an ios 15.1 device and I just upgrade the ID7 os from 0321 to 0721. I found out when I plug my phone to the car via the type-c cable. ID7 won't play any musics and Bluetooth also gets disconnected. (But call function and battery charging still work. When I unplug the phone, Bluetooth will connect to the car automatically and music will play as normal.

I tried to use my friend's IOS 14 device for testing and I find out everything works like charm.

So fellas, be patient, dont upgrade your iphone to IOS 15 or upgrade your ID7 to 0721.

I've a 13 Pro running 15.1, and iDrive at 7/2021.50, with no issues. Wireless CarPlay, music works fine. Try removing your phone from the car, and the car from the phone, and re-pairing. I haven't tested a connection via the wire as the wireless works flawlessly

I can assure you it works. Unpair and repair your phone. Also check your usb settings on the phone. It may have altered how it interacts with usb interfacing.

I just unpair and pair my phone again. Everything works fine now! Huge thanks to @v_ckash623 and @Sososurf. I even thinking about downgrade my phone back to ios14 last night 😢

Glad to hear it worked out! When I'm doubt, reset it and try again.
