We've sold a few in the UK, so they are out there. Quicker than the F8X M3/M4 thanks to more torque. Expensive due to being hardware with engine warranty, rather than software with no engine warranty.

Half tempted to go for it, but TBH, the regular goes fast enough for me as it is, so £15k or whatever it is, might go to waste

I think £15k is the full package. Exhaust, engine mods, suspension etc etc.

Nobody has done it because it's A LOT of money.
Paying £6k for an exhaust on a Ferrari is reasonable, paying £4k on an exhaust for a 3 series is a little painful...

Yes, it's the same upgrade with a slightly different wiring loom. Power output is the same as the non-MHT version, 420hp and 600Nm. The recuperation system is only used for fuel saving.

AFAIK they will still cover the car but not any faults potentially arising from the tuning. These extended warranties are not the same animal as a factory warranty. They are more like insurance, with lots of exclusions. We can't warrant engines beyond 3 years old for the same reason.
