Thoughts on these: M4 GTS Style tails for G80

They're not available for G82/G83 yet though. I saw a video of them on FB, they looked pretty cool.

(didn't see this posted, apologize if repost)

They look cool but I'm just not a fan of changing these sorts of things.

Seems cheap and cheesy to me. Kind of like everyone changing their taillights in the late 90s/early 00s on their civics, integras, etc. to altezza taillights to look like the OG Lexus IS (which I of course did when I was a teenager).

If they were an official BMW part, I'd feel differently.

Look a little too cheesy for me. Borderline teen-tuner.

As I understand the G8X version is better than the F8X version but this style has over saturated the market and now not only does pretty much every F8X have these lights installed but F3X’s have them as well. This style was amazing when it was exclusive to GTS and CS models and actually OLED but now there are just fake and cheap OLED lights. They cost $600 so the bar to entry is low compared to the actual OLED cost which is around 8k

That’s with anything, easier to copy what sells vs actually developing doing R&D. Just look at how much fake m performance stuff are out already, copy paste is where the money is at for them

Here you go folks. G82/G83 M4 compatible. Not a fan myself because there is a crucial part of the G82 style missing in the light.
