Bimmercode for 2022 M240x

I contacted Bimmercode to see if the app would interface with the 2022 M240. Bimmrcode rep indicated that at the current time no, but they are working on the programing to allow it to code the 2022 M240. When and if i hear back from them that it is compatible i will post such info here.

there is some functionality if you choose G series 340/M3 from the menu. I was able to code out my seatbelt chime and activate video in motion, among some other small tweaks. It's not 100% perfect, but I'm glad some of it works (especially being able to code out the seat belt chime alone). I emailed bimmercode and they claim they are working on a future update, and to follow their social media for updates.

Could you tell us more the things you were able to do. I would really like to get rid of the audible horn when locking the car while it is running. I agree on the seat belt chime, my god it is annoying.

The only thing I have done so far is code the car to automatically start in sports individual mode, which automatically turns off start/stop, win win.

Well I got some coding in this evening and everything worked that I tried. So far, seat belt chime, video in motion, horn honk's when locking while running, heated seat last setting, warning on screen when starting, default sport individual.

Quick question. You guys are using Bimmercode for what model car? I know Bimmercode isn't support for the G42 yet that's why I'm asking. I would like to try this out myself. Thanks.

Thanks for the tip about using the G20 to code as I had tried to do some coding when I first got the car in December but saw the g42 wasn't supported yet. I also coded the M virtual cockpit which looks way cooler than the standard one in my opinion. It won't let me code the car to start in sport mode as it gave me a message that my adapter doesn't work for that module. Speaking of the adapter which one are you all using? I have the veepeak one.

I just used Bimmercode on my G42. I coded the M performance symbol into my digital display cluster with the 3 color symbols on it as well. When I shut down my car, the M performance logo flashes on the screen, when I approach the car if it's lock, the driver door will open and the mirrors will fold out. Also I defaulted my startup to be sport individual. There are a few more things you can do within Bimmercode but I used the G20 settings as stated in this thread. I'm assuming once our car is setup within Bimmercode, it will have more options.

Although the m version of the digital cockpit looks way cooler, I noticed it doesn't show what driving mode you are in, i.e sport, comfort. Etc. Also it took away the tachometer in the heads up display. As a result I may have to switch back to the original version or try one of the m performance options.

Does anyone know if you can remove the top speed limiter through bimmercode? I got the runflats so my top speed is limited to 130mph

Just an update for anyone not in a rush. I ordered from modbmw on Jan 24 with the slow shipping. It cost $55 us. I received the item Feb 9th and it needed to be signed for.

Just bought bimmercode so I'll have to watch some YouTube video and fool around this weekend.

I was able to add "Sporty" mode for my exhaust. The valve on the right exhaust stays open while I'm driving in any mode and once I shut the car off, the valve closes.

I followed your path and ordered in on Feb 3rd. It so happened that it was exactly a month before I pick up my car on Mar 3rd.

UPDATE: Delivered on Feb 17th which is exactly 2 weeks after I ordered.
