Hi there,

i´m still waiting for my G21 M340i and already started looking to fix a small problem.
The G21 has an option for aluminum buttons but they´re not available on the M Sport steering wheel.
I had a look around and it seems like the G11 steering wheel can be used in the G21 as most of the G models share the same steering wheel.
On top it seems like the buttons are interchangeable and i would only need to purchase the G11 buttons and fit them into my G21 steering wheel.

Can someone confirm this?

On top of that i would like to remove the airbag without damaging the back of the steering wheel.
The F30 had another way to remove the airbag where you could remove the column cover and use a screwdriver from the back of the airbag.
Is this also possible for the G21 steering wheel?

yes you can use the buttons you just need the correct options.

and no. the g20 airbag comes out far easier than the f30 airbag, the non sport steering wheel in f30 was a pain to remove airbag.
