Shame about how low the specification is. £50k+ for manual seats and no updated sound system is unacceptable for a new car in that price bracket.

Pre-LCI still wins in the looks and functionality department for me (physical buttons).

The only thing I like about the LCI is the seemingly slightly faster cpu or more efficient coding used for iDrive 8. Scrolling around seems a bit more responsive.

It’s been discontinued on the 3 series LCI.It makes no sense because they just released the i4 and it has the traditional shifter. Why put the traditional shifter in an electric car and remove it from an ICE car.At least they kept the traditional shifter in the M3 LCI.

That's a UK spec car. US models may have different standard or optional equipment.

Looks real good in black. Best color for the new front bumper updates IMO

The 792 rims look bad ass in bi-color!

Other than the DRL updates there is nothing on the LCI which I would take in preference to the previous MY.

I forget which car blog tested iDrive 8; But they said it was actually slower than 7. They assumed it was due to it needing to shake some bugs out..

With all the deletions and some of the new Honda-esque body changes, I don't see this as a marked improvement.

Eww the center console looks like a piece is missing. Removal of the physical buttons is silly. They managed to make that whole huge screen look glued on instead of integrated into the body styling too.

I really don't like the interior changes at all, so happy I took delivery 6 weeks ago.

I'm sure iDrive 8 will be great eventually, but for now, I'm glad I have iD7 in my '22 M440i GC.

I'm hoping this is UK only. If the US spec is like that I'm going to be really pissed!

Thinking the Piano black trim may be the way to go on this LCI - may help blend in with the huge screen.

Wish they would have integrated the screen better but still excited about ordering my LCI once BMW Canada wakes up.

Here we go with the:

"I'll be keeping my pre-lci"
"so glad I got the pre-lci"
"I-Drive 8 is terrible, so glad I got iD7"
"Looks like a Kia, Honda, etc"
"BMW is losing their way, what are they thinking!"

What else do the negative Nancy's have to say?

The curved screen looks really awkward when looking at it from outside the car lol
Graphics on the screen look real nice though

The exterior looks good (except for that rear diffuser) but still can't come to accept that iDrive 8 screen and how it has (or shall I say hasn't) been implemented with the dash.

The loss of the gear selector for a non-EV car is a strange change as well.
