small blacked view in rear cam g22

like 2 months ago the back up cam has a small black part on the screen cameras clean. I check error codes and one pops up saying field of view temp disturbed. anyone else have this issue.

The KAFAS camera is the front one used for collision working etc, not the rear view camera.

o ok thats weird front one seems fine.

It's not a current error code but a historic one.

I believe there's a recall for that now? I came across a link a week or so ago saying BMW is going to have a recall for an issue that sounded exactly like yours. You should be getting a mail in a month or so from them.

yea. I seen it on a webpage see if anyone else had it but checked my vin at bmw site and nothing but imma mention it cause I just got check engine light I only got 2k miles on my car the temp gauge also faulty.
