Looks like these “snake eyes” are becoming the new style
X5/6 LCI has them and looks like the new g60 will have them as well |

I think i will like this. The current standard half circle droopy eye DRL looks mega cheap. the upgrade DRL should be standard, but such is business.
The DRL becoming standard is a welcome "upgrade"

I can’t believe how easily BMW let go of their signature halo/hexagonal DRL’s. There is no uniformity between the vehicles as they all have different light features. Look at the latest X7 LCI then go back and look at the X7 Pre-LCI, the older model looks so great with its signature BMW lighting aesthetics.

Looks like they are updating the grill a bit too? There's a pretty thick bar right across the middle. Maybe trying to break up the beaver teeth design that was not very well received.

Initially hated the new 4 series grille, but the M3/M4 version has grown on me. Especially once I saw it in person😎

I agree in person the M3/M4 grill isn't bad. It's fairly imposing. But the regular 4 series grill just does not do it for me. Which is sad because the M440i is almost exactly what I want in a new car. If only the 3 series came with ventilated seats lol

Yes, but it will be subtle over time like the Bangled butt. To make a dramatic change would be admitting they screwed it up and BMW isn't going to do that.

M440i gets B58B30M2 at 375hp. It is likely that this is a US + South Korea specific change, with other markets continuing with the existing TÜ1 engines. This is clearly an emissions driven change (SK uses US standards). This also suggests that G20/G21/G26 could get the new engines starting with 07/24 production.
Expect worse exhaust sounds if they will add additional emissions filters like the current European models (OPF installed, 374 bhp) |

Let’s get completely real Hopefully this LCI fixes the unsightly grills I’ve never liked the grills on any of the newer 4 series offerings
