It’s our first BMW and I noticed that there is a blue tint film on driver’s side mirror only and was wondering if that’s normal - I vaguely remember seeing BMW’s with blue tinted side mirrors on both sides before. I haven’t had time to read the user manual yet as I’ve picked up the car very recently. Thanks for the heads up, guys.

Yes, that's right, with the exterior side mirrors the anti-glare feature is only applied on the driver's mirror - same configuration with my 2021 330i.

From some of the posts in the thread linked below, BMW apply this to only one exterior these days. It would have been nice having the feature on both exterior mirrors though.

Thanks very much for that 👍 so it looks like it’s been removed on all models since 2017. I thought something wasn’t right. Thanks, it’s a beautiful car and I love the feel of RWD, and am enjoying driving it every time.
