Took the plunge yesterday

I’ve had my 2022 X3 M Comp for about 2 years and it was just time for a change. I went to a local dealer to look at an Isle of Mann green M4 Comp convertible. It had a blue interior and I just could not accept the odd combination. The dealer said they just got a 2024 M4 Comp and as soon as I saw it I knew it had to be mine!

Options are:
Executive Package
Driver Assist Package
Parking Asssit Package
M Shadowline Lights
Carbon Fiber Trim
Front Ventilated seats
Icon Adaptive LED w/ Laserlight
M Carbon Exterior Package
Drive Recorder
Floating Hubcaps

I saw that IOMG M4 when I was picking my G83 last month. That's been on the showroom for a while now. I think people aren't crazy about the Fjord blue vs YMB.

Nothing wrong with the X3M at all. But at some point, I started feeling like I was too high up and too heavy. I will miss the extra cargo space though.

I agree 100% about the X3MC. Great SAV but I wanted back into a sportier car that was not as high and with a litttle less body-roll. It’s amazing what BMW did with the X3MC but when pushing it the height and weight are noticeable.

I thought I’d be OK with the IOMG but in person the blue just looks wrong. I’m betting it was a customer order that fell through. I can’t see the dealer spec’ing it out that way. They were offering me 7k off MSRP but just could not do it with the Dravit Grey sitting right behind it.

My friend who came with me that day actually really fell in love with it, but he couldn't justify not getting the extra packages it was missing for how much money it was.

It was missing the Driver Asssitance Pro which I would really miss. I make lots of trips from SC to PA and the DAP really helps.

Congrats! I got my M3 from United a few months ago. I also agree, the M4 convertible is an odd color combo... Enjoy your new ride!

Yep. That was the main thing he was missing. That + things he could get from an order like carbon package, M Drive professional, etc.

I love car forums because I can feel like changing cars after only 2 years or even after only 2 months and it's totally acceptable. I usually struggle through many more years of ownership but my eyes start wandering much sooner.

I'm at this fork in the road right now. Put money in an investment account and put more monthly towards it or put 20k down on an M3 and have a high monthly payment for the car. Everyone says invest but I want the damn car.

I knew you bought from United after the first line!! I just picked up a G83 from United 2 weeks ago in Dravit Gray. Its a great color.

My 3rd BMW purchased from United. It’s a 3 hour drive but they always have a great selection and are willing to deal.

Whomever winds up buying the IOMG with Blue interior they have can expect 7k off minimum. 7k without any haggling. I’m betting a good haggler can get 10k off that car. Maybe more as we get closer to fall.

This is my second from United, I live about 15 minutes from the dealer. Enjoy the ride! I love mine so far but still getting used to the stiff seatback, especially in the lumbar region.
