Hey folks, presumably an iPhone Max (a big ‘un) fits in the charger tray?

My Pixel 6 Pro is roughly the same size as an Iphone Max and my phone fits comfortably in the charging tray. Though I decided not to use the charging tray and set up a proclips mount for my phone.

If iPhone, actual MagSafe cases seem to result in less phone baking.

My 12 Pro Max fits just fine, but it gets hot. It actually overheated so I’ve been avoiding using it until either Apple or BMW fixes it. I think there’s finger pointing back and forth but think it’s more of an Apple issue because I have the same problem in my Porsche Macan.

Not only does it cook the phone, it doesn’t charge it very quickly.

Going to try the gap thing that sig_serg mentioned in another thread
