If ENGINE setting, only affects throttle response sensitivity, than there must be some interference between those settings and throttle booster settings, because on my car there is a noticable difference when I cycle through the modes. ENGINE mode to Sport/Sport+ result in a particular choppiness/jerk in power delivery, whereas ENGINE to Comfort mode, is very smooth, throughout the powerband.

But if the throttle booster isn't interfering with ENGINE drive mode settings, there has to be some other factors that change. So what exactly does setting the ENGINE mode (sport/comfort/sport+) change?
