Came off motorway after a 200 mile return home from a long weekend. Stopped at bottom of slip road and the exhaust decided to chuck a significant amount of smoke out, pulled away and stopped at next few roundabouts, nothing. No emls etc and when I got home there was no smoke at all…. No performance issue’s either….

I’m thinking it’s cleaned out it’s opf….. appreciate any additional thoughts?

It's certainly not something I've seen with my 340i, and I guess from the lack of responses to your post, it's not something anybody else has noticed either.

Odd though, but I suppose if it's not happened again, nothing to worry about
