Plug and Charge error

After taking almost 9 months to get the Plug and Charge software patch installed and the EA contract downloaded, I tried today and would not work, giving me an error at 2 different chargers. It finally worked ok when I used my iPhone wallet BMW/EA app. Any ideas ?
