I'm wondering if anyone in the New England area (ideally close to NH) has an M340i with either the MPE, Dinan, AWE Touring, or Remus exhausts (with stock downpipe) and would be willing to meet up to let me hear how it sounds in person. I'm willing to buy lunch!

I wish I had taken you up on it. I bought the AWE Resonated Touring and it's installed. I love the tone, and I love the startup, but it's a bit on the quiet side overall. Like maintaining speed around town or on the highway you don't hear it, but any gas at all and you can hear and feel it

Yeah, I’m glad I didn’t go with the resonated version. I’m in love with my exhaust.

I'm certainly no expert, but from my understanding the resonator in the AWE exhaust is a section they insert that dampens the volume. AWE sells a kit to remove the resonator if you bought an exhaust with one, and vice versa

Is it too late to find a time to meet up with you man? It would be cool to get our exhausts side by side for a comparison video. I'd still like to hear yours too anyway because I am considering removing the resonator

Our engine's probably aren't the same though, which engine do you have? Do you think it's similar enough to the B58 to be worth comparing them?

Not at all. My October is jam packed, but maybe sometime next month.
