Android auto not working
Hello everyone
Encountered an issue yesterday, where Android auto stopped working. The iDrive has a message to continue the setup on my phone and the phone says to continue on the car screen. As a solution i attempted the following: -Deleting the phone from iDrive and reconnecting -Resetting the iDrive -Connecting with a wire and pairing once again -Clearing cache and data on the AA app -Uninstalling and installing the updates on the AA app -Changing different settings in the app Unfortunately nothing worked, at this moment I'm really stuck. Did anyone have a similar issue and perhaps know how to fix this? The phone is a Galaxy Fold 2, the car is a 2024 5er |

This has happened to me twice out of nowhere, nothing I've tried fixes it but it does randomly start working again eventually.
Really frustrating when it happens since I rely on android auto for everything in the car. Last time it happened I deleted the phone from the car, forgot the bluetooth and wifi connections from the phone, removed the car from the list of known android auto vehicals on the phone, reconnected everything and still got the failed to connect message. Then like 2-3 stop/starts later it just connected automatically again like nothing was wrong. |
