Brooklyn Grey

Specifically for those that have or have had it on a Touring (G21/81), pro's and cons.

There's no doubt about it being a stunning colour, is it a nightmare to keep pristine, have you had it coated, any input on it appreciated, thanks

I have anM340i touring in Brooklyn. Just had it coated.
I like it a bit more when its got a bit of dirt smattered on the side and on the rear diffuser, looks great.
It’s a nice colour.
Just been coated .

I had initially worried the wife would hate it, but she loves it. and she’s super picky.

Brooklyn Grey is my Mrs choice! I’m an Isle of Man green fan, but whatever gets me over the line

The more I look at it, the more I like it though

The main criticism I see/hear about Brooklyn Grey is that it looks like BMW didn't bother to paint it and just left it as grey primer

mine is Brooklyn Grey. Looks good when clean but equally looks good when dirty. I've got the black wheels with it too which work well together. have also got black badges, so no chrome anywhere....

I have also noticed it does not seem to collect stone chips like my previous cars. My car is 10 mths old driven enthusiastically and only have a few so far, I wonder if the paint treatment is baked a little harder.

I’ve got Brooklyn grey, had it ceramic coated from day 1, very low maintenance hides swirls very well, I find it a bit dull though.

I’ve done 30k miles now and still looks like new minus a few stone chips, of course ceramic coating will have helped with this but much easier to maintain than the darker colours

I’ve always been a blue car lover, none so much as Lapiz Blue on the mk8 golf R I recently had, that colour in the sun is just 👌

However, I bucked my usual trend this time round and went for Brooklyn Grey as I think it really suits the G21. I love the black accents, so much so that I changed the model designation badges and added the black M Performance rear spoiler as it matches the wing mirrors etc.

I think it looks fantastic!

I ordered dravit grey, but they must have changed/resprayed a finished shell during assembly. You can see the Brooklyn grey under the stone chips.

I can't tell if that's a joke indicating that Brooklyn Grey looks like primer, or you're being serious

Just want to say, this looks absolutely stunning!
I cancelled mine and seeing this makes me jealous, especially with the price increases now. Will consider again in the near future.
Anyway, enjoy, it’s gorgeous!

Easy car to keep clean you can see the dirt and any tar spots. Recommend ppf and I just snow foam and neutral wash them dry with yum detailer easy peasy. Just the wheels kill me - the complexity of the shape means I keep missing bits no matter how diligent and methodical I try to be.

Can vouch for this, PPF on my G80 Brooklyn. Looks nice in the 81 though! The carbon roof looks insane on the 81 in lighter the colours 👍🏼!
