AA DP + Dinan axle back installed!
I’ve been running the AA DP since March and it just wasn’t enough. I looked at all the major options and decided on the Dinan, I liked the dual valves, aggressive tips and the price wasn’t too bad considering. It took a month to come in but it was well worth it! The quality is top notch and the welds are beautiful. I heard some people say it drones horribly, even with a stock DP but it’s completely comfortable on the highway in comfort mode. There’s a bit of drone on the highway if you drive with the valves open but even then it’s nowhere near the drone I’ve experienced over the years in my previous vehicles with aftermarket set ups. The only thing is cold starts are loudddd. When I tune the car I might disable the cold start mode. 10/10 would recommend!

I loved my Dinan, but it eventually suffered from incurable valve rattle on cold starts and when cruising at low RPMs. I went through 3 different axleback sections from them before I said fuck it and sold it to make the switch to AWE. This was a year or so ago though so I’m curious to see if they’ve fixed it because I’d love to get another one.

Eh, sometimes I miss having the ability to make the car significantly quieter.
There was. The rattle wasn’t there initially but developed over time and eventually would not go away no matter how the springs were adjusted. |
