Has anyone on here had any idea experience either good/bad with BMW Insurance services?

Just wondering what they are like RE customer service/small mods and of course claims...

Any mod and they won’t insure. Claims wise bloody fantastic. Had cash in bank within 6 working days when had a write off by travelling type crashing into my car and driving off (transit tipper, no rear number plate)…

Claims was spot on. Car (previous 330d) collected within 2 hours of steering wheel theft. Put in a 430d gc, two hours later.

They class both PPF and ceramic coatings as mods (unless installed by the dealer) so they wouldn't quote on mine. Seems a bit stupid from the insurance brand of a manufacturer who supposedly aims at enthusiasts, also their list of things they don't class as mods contains stuff that seems more of a mod than PPF/ceramic (e.g. wheel spacers) so their policy on what they class as a mod doesn't seem particularly consistent.

Even if fitted from new, they wouldn't cover MPPSK fitted cars (340i/440i)
