Can these winter wheels work on my 330i xDrive?
Hi, even after reading about this from different sources, I'm confused about whether these wheels will work on my 2020 330i xDrive purchased Canada. It has the MSport package but regular brakes on 19" wheels with Perelli runflat 225-40R19 all season tires.
I keep reading that the MSport has different tires and wheels front and back, but since my tires are all the same around, wouldn't it make sense the wheels are the same all around? Otherwise I've read that the front could be 19x8 ET27 while the back is 19x8.5 ET40. I'm confused. When I look up tires websites, I can't find an MSport option with 225-40R19 tires all around... I guess this is besides the point because I'm looking for a set of 18" wheels with 225-45R18 winter tires. So my mechanic (who I trust) has a limited selection from his supplier, and they can only get these: ART Replica 165 Gunmetal - 18x8 | +25 | 5x112 | 66.6mm https://wheelhaven.com/products/art-...5-5x112-66-6mm But I want these: ART Replica 61 Dark Gunmetal - 18x8.5 | +30 | 5x112 | 66.6mm https://wheelhaven.com/products/art-...5x112mm-66-6mm I put the numbers into Will They Fit: https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...8.5&offset2=30 It looks like the ones I want should fit, looks like a minimal difference, less than 10mm in circumference and 3mm in diameter. Am I missing something? If I just ordered my own wheels, should these work with some 225x45R18 winter tires? Thanks! |

As far as tires go, most M sport cars have staggered tire sizes with 225/40-19 in front and 255/35R-19 in the rear, but a square setup with 225/40R-19 front and rear is usually an option. Your 225/45R-18 tires are perfect.
