Hey all,

Recently, my boot will only open half way and seems to get stuck, so I have to open it up fully by hand. Furthermore, when I use the (comfort close) button, I hear a click noise and it won’t close and I have to manually close the boot lid.

For reference, it’s 4 series and has only just started happening. I’ve looked in the menu and there doesn’t seem to an option to open the boot partially etc.

Any ideas what could be wrong and are there any fixes I can’t try?

How is your batteries state of charge? If you have a low battery the car will cut power to certain features.

Battery is fine and recently charged. No issues with any other systems, such as stop/start and no warning messages etc.
