Bad smell after acceleration BMW M340i -23

Hi, I have a 2023 BMW M340i mild hybrid. Over the past week, I’ve noticed that after heavy acceleration—just flooring the gas once—and then slowing down to a red light, there’s a burnt smell, like burnt oil or rubber. When I start driving again, the smell disappears. The engine temperature never exceeds 109 degrees Celsius. And it really only takes flooring the gas once for the smell to appear.

During normal driving, there’s no smell—only after hard acceleration. This has never happened before, and the car has done 41,000 km.

Do you think there’s something wrong with the car? I don’t usually drive it hard; could it be that it’s just “airing out” and that’s why it smells? It’s mostly driven in city traffic or on the highway with cruise control.

Its stock in every aspect. Run-in period was done to correct.

I would appreciate your input.
