“My BMW App” Warning
I hope you are all having relaxing time. My LCI 320i, 2023 had the front tyre down to almost zero pressure on 11 November and there was a screw in the tyre. The tyre was changed at my local BMW dealer on 15 November and all the warnings from the car have now disappeared.
I cannot, however, get rid of the warning from the app on my phone (images below) . So far I have done the following: 1- Reset iDrive 8. 2- Delete all data from the app, delete the app and re-install. 3- Delete data from the iDrive (factory reset). 4- Remove the car from The app does say that it will take up to 3 trips for this warning to disappear and I have made about 30 plus trips, shortest one being 5 miles but the warning is still there. Any ideas? TIA |

The app is sometimes a little frustrating at the moment. I had a random MOT warning for 2 months that had a totally incorrect date on the app, but was correct in the car and on the BMW side after getting the dealer to check.
It eventually fixed itself so assume it was an issue with the app. A guy at work recently had the same message you have had but his cleared after a few days. Assume you have reset the TPMS when the tyre was changed? |

The car software itself (currently 11.2024 on ID7) is pretty stable. I could count on one hand the issues I've had in 4 years of owning the car. all resolved with a reboot.
Its just the app recently that seems to do odd things. A few guys at work have ID8 and say its more temperamental than ID7 at the moment. |

Just in case others have same or similar issues, this started on 11/11/2024 as there was a bail in the tire and it was replaced on 20/11/2024. The warning has cleared this morning on its own.
I had tried everything including, iDrive 8 reset, deleting profile, re-setting the idrive to factory reset, clear app cache and deleting the my BMW app with no success. This morning, it had disappeared on its own! |
