Hey all,

I am looking at buying rotors/pads for my 2020 M340. I think I am getting genuine BMW rotors, but am exploring pad options. One thing I did notice while looking up all the OEM parts was that there are two different options listed for the front pads. I listed the part numbers below along with their description. Did something change on these, or are they all interchangeable? Just want to double check to ensure I buy the correct parts.

34116889570 - claims to be for years 2019 to 2/2022
34108844368 - claims to be for 3/2022 forward

The other pads I am considering are the Hawk 5.0 or Hawk Performance Ceramic. Definitely would looooove less brake dust, hence the PC consideration, but am welcome to any feedback on these two options as well as any rotor suggestions that are not too overpriced.

The M-sport (348mm) front calipers changed leading up to MY22. Therefore, the pads are now different.

Being a 2020 you have a lot more options; they're pretty limited for 2022 and up at this point.
